Brice to lead Cheshire as Nix look to appoint Head Coach in New Year

After a disappointing start to the season, that has seen Cheshire fall out of the Playoff picture, Phoenix have parted ways with Head Coach Colin O’Reilly, after only 6 months, by mutual agreement.

As the club look to identify a new head coach and make an appointment early next year, in the interim, GM James Brice will take the coaching reigns tonight. Ahead of his BBL coaching debut, this evening, we caught up with James before he took his squad on the road to face Sheffield.

“As a group we are focused and looking forward to a challenging contest against Sheffield. Any change in personnel is always going cause a certain amount of disruption, but we have a job to do tonight and right now that’s what we’re concentrating on.”

We’ll bring you more over the coming weeks as the story develops.
