Oklahoma City Thunder’s Steven Adams sat down for an interview with a special NBA fan ahead of last night’s game, which saw the Thunder fall to Real Madrid 142-137 in overtime in its first of two preseason games in Spain as part of the NBA Global Game Europe 2016.
In the fun video interview, Guillermo, a young Spanish kid who defines himself as “an NBA super fan” surprises the 23 year-old Thunder player by wearing a wig and mustache and claiming Adams copied his style. The interview then goes on with Guillermo asking Adams whether or not he would shave for an NBA Championship, to which the New Zealander player responded, “straight away, yes”, before shaking the young fan’s hand on it.
Guillermo then tests Adams’ Spanish and shares some useful basketball words with him to get him ready for the two Spanish games. The Thunder will now travel to Barcelona where they will take on FC Barcelona Lassa on Wednesday Oct 5 at the Palau Sant Jordi.
