BBL All Star Five: Week 28

Our weekly look at the BBL’s picks for best of the week.

Jerrold Brooks (Sheffield Sharks)
It continues to be an eye-catching first BBL campaign for the Sharks’ guard after he clinched a place in our line-up for a seventh time of his standout rookie season. Brooks was the top performer in his team’s victory against Bristol Flyers after he dropped 26 points in the contest, including four downtown scores. In an all action display, he also registered five rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Warren Gillis (Glasgow Rocks)
Accumulating the highest individual score of the week, Gillis erupted for 34 points for the Rocks as they shot down Leeds Force to continue their rich vein of form as they eye up a top four finish. The guard found his range from deep after managing to sink a perfect four of four from behind the three-point line. He also came up with three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Drew Sullivan (Leicester Riders)
It’s the seventh time in our line-up for the Great Britain favourite who was instrumental in helping Riders to squeeze out a triumph against Surrey Scorchers. His 18 points, which included an ice cool 10 of 10 from the free-throw line, helped the title contenders avoid a major slip-up. Sullivan also added seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block.

Kinu Rochford (Cheshire Phoenix)
The forward exploded against Plymouth University Raiders as Cheshire dug out a thrilling victory to boost their Play-Off challenge. Rochford amassed a spectacular double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds, in what was the best performance of the entire week. He also accumulated three assists, a block and a steal as he chalked up his fourth starting five appearance.
